Archery Trailer Information
The archery trailer travels throughout New Hampshire to promote archery and other shooting sports. Our biggest event is the Deerfield Fair, where we teach an average of 1,200 people how to shoot archery every year. This is a great opportunity to contribute to the club and begin a volunteer path. You do not need to be an instructor to help, but we are always looking for more instructors. It's always a fun time, and the kids learn a great deal of responsibility and leadership through volunteering.
Rules of the Mobile Archery Trailer
1. The Archery trailer goes out on a first-come, first-served basis.
2. 4H has precedent over any requested dates.
3. The trailer only goes out a few dates per month (April to October). During the winter months, a qualified indoor space must be over 10 feet high.
4. Due to most of our instructors being volunteers, we have limited dates available.
5. Due to our insurance, waivers/releases and an age limit of 8 and up are required.
Chester Town Fair
We are seen in our community at the Chester Town Fair every September. Its a great small event to see the trailer in action.
Our Trailer
Our trailer is packed with arrows, bows, 3D targets, a cloth backstop, releases, tables, chairs, banners, stands, eye protection, and all other traveling equipment.
A lot of wear and tear happens when we hit almost 10 events from April to October.
