Instructor Training
We are always looking for new instructors to join our program. Through the teaching programs we use, you can learn how to teach others one of the disciplines we offer: rifle, archery, pistol, and shotgun.
All instructors are trained by state instructors certified to teach courses. Adult volunteers receive training in shooting sports at state and regional workshops to become qualified instructors. Teen leaders may wish to assist with instruction. Shooting sports leaders act as role models and must impart shooting sports philosophy and youth development objectives to CJRAL members.
4H Instructor Training
We utilities the 4H Shooting Sports module for training our instructors in archery, pistol, rifle, and shotgun.
Below is the link for more information about 4H Shooting Sports training.

NRA Training
Our marksmen group is based off the NRA module. In order to run this program, we need to have a trained NRA instructor as part our volunteer team to grade the targets.
