Target Grading Rules

NEW! This year, our grading Instructors have asked that ALL targets be placed in a tray next to the exit of the rifle range. The grading instructor will gather all targets at the end of that meeting.

Awards will be done in this fashion for 2026-2027 season

When a youth earns their FIRST patch in a discipline we will be awarding that at the next meeting during the announcements.

But

All other awards will be held till the end of the season and handed out at the awards brunch on June 12th.

This will give the grading instructor time to prepare correctly.

There will be NO same-day grading allowed. Please have patience with the volunteers. This will also allow a more streamlined approach, and our instructors will be available to assist on the line.

To access the scores you must be a member and know the password.

In Order for the targets of any discipline to be graded correctly the YOUTH MUST HAVE

You Can Improve  Yesterdays You!

The marksman's program is not about punching out target after target.  We at CJRAL are looking to see CJRAL members to improve their skill.  So we are asking you to shoot your targets BUT only turn in the best of the bunch.  Your Name and Date needs to be on all Targets and leadable.

This program is all about Improving the yesterdays you. It's not a race to the finish line.
